RS-232 to RS-485 converter. Direct connection to the standard 9 pin RS-232 port provides RS-485 9 pin male connector or on board (included). To connect a device with RS-485 interface on a PC with a serial (RS-232) port.

Transmission speed: 300 to 115200 bps.
Transmission distance 5m (RS-232), 1.2km (RS-485). RS-485, unlike RS-232 half-duplex, ie transmission and reception is the same signal lines.
